This family-owned business continues to share their passion for bold balanced beers through their production brewery, brew-pub and tourism operation in the village of Woodend; just an hour from Melbourne in the magnificent **Macedon Ranges** This historic hotel has stylishly refurbished 10-room accommodation right above the brewing operations With 12 beers on tap, all made on-site

**The Role**

As the **Assistant Manager** your main responsibilities will include
- Management of hotel in the absence of the Manager
- Bar, Dining & accommodation sales & service according to quality and service standards
- Maintaining & improving the safety and cleanliness of FOH areas.
- Offering a high standard of customer service to match the high standard of food/beverages/reputation.
- Ensuring yourself & training other FOH staff to follow policies regarding customer service, money, safety, cleanliness, and security
- Training of FOH staff in all aspects of service, products, policies & procedures.
- Take orders, serve and clear tables in the restaurant & bar
- Assist with the taking, setting-up and confirmation of bookings
- Taking accom reservations, function bookings, deposits, balances and details
- Prepare bar for service with adequate supplies of glassware, drinks, cash float etc
- Stock take and maintain bar stock and inventory according to stock levels
