**About the role**

We’re seeking a passionate Copywriter who will be responsible for executing the MCEC tone-of-voice and copy across various touchpoints and digital channels. Reporting to the Brand Manager and working closely with the Brand Specialist, this role is central to ensuring that brand communications are effective and engaging, providing customers with exceptional, brand-aligned experiences. Working in an agile environment, this is a fast-paced cross functional role.

**You will**
- Have a strong understandingof the MCEC brand tone-of-voice and deliver this consistently across all written communications.
- Be responsible and deliver engaging, impactful and emotive copy for MCEC channels including website, blogs, eDMs, digital ads and marketing campaigns
- Simplify complex ideas into language that is easy to understand.
- Take a creative approach to writing whilst being commercially practical.
- Think creatively to communicate new ideas, concepts and provide solutions within agreed timelines
- Take briefs and instruction and execute copy needs within agreed framework.
- Work collaboratively with in house designers, brand marketers and digital marketers to bring ideas, content and campaigns to life.
- Prepare scripting for video content and keynote speeches.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualified in journalism, communications, or content marketing.
- A talent and passion for writing
- Understanding of how to embed messaging within a marketing environment.
- Strong ability to solve problems with attention to detail, accurate proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to take briefs/ideas and see them through to execution.
- Ability to work well within time constraints andmanage competing priorities in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Team focused approach.

- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicates with impact.
