This role will see you complete meaningful work with residential clientele that is not only needed but also appreciated. Providing a variety in the complexity of job types, you can look forward to a consistent workload providing stability and security of work.

Reporting to the Area Leader, the Gardener is responsible for coordinating and completing a variety of garden maintenance duties (preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance) whilst ensuring that a high-quality standard of work is achieved. They are also responsible for acting as a customer service ambassador for their clients.

**Description**

This role is responsible for a variety of gardener-related tasks, as well as the completion of additional tasks that may be required during quiet periods. Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):

- Pruning and trimming
- Hedging
- Lawn mowing, maintenance, and garden clean-ups
- Other ADHOC duties as required
- Ability to think on the spot and solve problems
- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
- Moderate computer skills
- Assisting in the provision of reports

**Profile**
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- Experience operating gardening equipment (preferred)
- Current valid driver's license with the ability to drive a ute with a trailer
- Previous experience with treatments, pesticides, and insecticides
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- A good level of fitness in order to undertake work requirements

The following are highly desirable but not essential:

- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- OH&S Training and Certificates

**What's on offer**

Successful applicants can look forward to receiving a base salary of $63,000 + 10.5% superannuation. In addition, our client will also provide a fully maintained vehicle (including a fuel card), all the tools and equipment that are required, a company mobile phone, and a uniform. Regular overtime (paid after 38 hours) is also available.
