**About the role**:
We currently have an opening for a Draftsperson in our branch in Wangara, WA. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting Unique’ s customers and clients through all issues relating to the Laser cutting and fabrication of their products
- Servicing our customer’s needs and requests professionally, thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Provide technical support to our production, sales and customer service departments
- Creating Shopfloor drawings
- Modifying customer concepts to create detailed fabrication drawings
- Reverse engineer cad files to create 2d flat patterns for laser cutting
- Experience in Manufacturing with a high degree of experience in drafting for the metal industry
- An understanding of fabrication processes including, laser cutting, folding, welding and assembly processes
- Experience with 2D and 3D design packages, preferably Inventor / Autocad software
- Experience in Sheetmetal design
- Ability to prepare bills of materials
- Liaising with suppliers to source components
- A working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Willing to learn brake press folding software
- An understanding of drawing standards
