Maroondah City Council is seeking a talented and passionate Integration Analyst to join the Cyber and Technology Team’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation Project.
Reporting to the Cyber and Technology Manager, the Integration Analyst will oversee all activities related to the cleansing and migration of data from Council’s legacy systems into a TechnologyOne OneCouncil solution.
The Integration Analyst will work closely with the ERP Project team, various stakeholders within Council, as well as implementation vendors to ensure successful delivery of key project activities.
**In this role, your key responsibilities will include**:
- Develop, track, and report against overall delivery of integration plans.
- Research, understand, and document underlying data structures within source and target systems. Explore data sets to understand their characteristics and establish integration requirements between systems.
- Create customised programs, scripts, and ERP configurations to facilitate integrations, and migration of data.
- Design and implement integration solutions to connect ERP systems, external systems, and internal systems using Azure Integration Suite (Logic App, API Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Functions), and other integration tools.
- Manage deployment processes, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of integration solutions into production environments.
- Prepare solution architecture document and detail technical document for integration projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure system availability.
- Lead and conduct performance tests to assess the scalability and efficiency of integration solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a security model for the integration platform in line with security standards and guidelines, working closely with the Cybersecurity Lead
- Contribute to other key project functions such as testing data migration processes and loading sample data for various project testing phases.
- Collaborating with Experts: Work closely with external ERP vendor/experts to build an internal knowledge base and expertise.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders and provide guidance to stakeholders in relation to business improvements and technology project outcomes.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing cloud infrastructure and APIs
- Experience with data modelling, information management & data flows
- Demonstrated experience with Azure Integration Suite (Logic App, API Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Functions), and SQL Server
- Demonstrated Experience working with APIs, SOAP, RESTful services, json, xml, and other integration methods and protocols.
- Experience with both synchronous and asynchronous integration methods.
- Experience with real-time and batch integrations, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis, data cleansing, deduping, data mapping, and integration tools, techniques and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience working on data integration platforms within a complex multi-tier environment, including government.
- Demonstrated experience with complex ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and solution options in simple terms to stakeholders and decision makers.
