**About Abergeldie**

Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with close to 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation.

**About the opportunity**

We're on the lookout for a Yardperson to join our team in St Mary’s. Your responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring our plant, equipment and yard is properly maintained.
- Loading and unloading trucks, cleaning, and preparing equipment for hire, stocktake and storing materials.
- Delivering plant and equipment to site.
- Assist the Plant Coordinator with other duties as required.

Hours are 7.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools and equipment.
- Current C Drivers License
- Current Forklift License
- Industry Construction Card or willing to obtain.
