Literature Teacher

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking an energetic and innovative teacher, committed to delivering excellence in the English Department commencing Term 1, 2025.

This position requires an educator with the capacity and experience to confidently teach Year 7 to Year 12 English and Years 11 and 12 ATAR Literature. You will be joining a department that is committed to fostering the pursuit of knowledge. It is a discipline which encourages each boy to achieve his potential and, through the promotion of wide reading and critical and creative thinking, develop a broad understanding of his own values and world views.

The successful applicant will support the ethos of the School, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, will have an exceptional understanding of innovative educational pedagogy and show an understanding of boys’ educational teaching and learning practices.

It is an expectation of the School that all members of staff contribute to the co-curricular program in a way that balances the needs of the School and the successful applicant’s talents and interests.
