Non-ferrous Buyer

We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator/ Non-Ferrous Buyer to work in Malaga. This is a casual full-time role with potential to go permanent. The successful applicant will be responsible for the receipt, classification and storage of Non-Ferrous materials.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Prompt and friendly customer service
- Utilising a forklift where required to inspect, grade and move materials into storage
- Grading material in accordance with direction received from Yard Manager and/or Supervisor
- Assisting the Yard Manager with stock control records as required
- Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to Safety in everything you do

**To be successful in this opportunity, you will have**:

- A proactive approach with excellent customer service ethic
- Good numeracy and mathematical skills
- Foundational computer knowledge with ability to complete basic data entry
- A current forklift licence
- Knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing techniques and equipment will be highly regarded.
