Carpentry Supervisor

Our client is a highly established Building and Construction company specialising in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Refurbishment and Commercial Fit-outs. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Carpentry Works Supervisor to add depth to their experienced and growing team. The primary scope of this position is to ensure works on site are completed safely, in good time and according to project budget. You will co-ordinate trade teams to ensure the highest quality of delivery and service to Education and Government clientele.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise closely with Government agencies to finalise project details
- Co-ordinate with suppliers, negotiating supplier pricing and allocate materials for job sites
- Preparing quotations/ scope of works for smaller scale school projects
- Allocating, supervising and managing trade employees and subcontractors
- Undertaking site inspections, auditing and required reporting
- Developing strong contractor and client relationships
- Provide regular project updates to clients
- Ensure all documentation such as SWMS, invoices and receipts are submitted to the administration team
- Supervise trades on-site where necessary
- Ensure any outstanding work orders are followed up with the client
- Deliver projects on time and within budget to client specifications

**Essential Criteria**
- Carpentry Trade Certificate
- Proven site supervisor or foreman experience managing a team
- Experience working with an administration team
- Competent with computers, smart phones and tablets
- Flexibility to travel intermittently for Regional Projects
- Current Driver Licence
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to undertake a Police Check

**Desirable**
- Experience with Government, School or Campus Construction Projects
- Estimating experience highly regarded
