**Brooklyn Donuts Barista and Beverage Enthusiast**

We are currently seeking **Barista and Beverage Enthusiast** to join our Westfield Woden store.

**-Must have reliable commute to start from 7am on weekdays and/or 8am on weekends-**

**The Offer**:
Fast-food industry award pay $32.06/hr* for weekdays plus super, plus extra 25% bonus of base rate for weekends

**The Role**:
**You must be able to operate the coffee machine efficiently, handle all kinds of milk frothing as required, understand how to adjust the grinder at the beginning of your shift and carry out maintenance work for your equipment at the end of your shift.**
- Show off your expertise by crafting and serving high quality coffee and beverages. The store is equipped with new state-of-the-art machines including a Linea PB by La Marzocco, automatic tamper and milk frother.
- Ensure consistent quality in every cup, paying attention to details like espresso extraction and milk texturing.
- Engage our customers and show your passion about the coffee you make and the brand.
- Collaborate closely with our donut dream team to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, equipment, and work area.
- Assist with general cleaning including dish washing during quite hours of the day.
- Assist in training and mentoring interested team members to develop their basic coffee knowledge and skill.

**The Person**:

- Proven experience as a barista in a fast-paced cafe or coffee shop environment.
- Expertise in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and coffee brewing techniques.
- Knowledge of coffee beans, roasts, and flavour profiles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create connections and engage with customers.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume setting.
