**$55,000 - $70,000 (+ Super) per year negotiable**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Customer Service
- Customer relations including telephone enquiries and face to face
- Maintenance and enforcement of contractor’s log book, including provision of company safety information and enforcement of loading and unloading exclusion zones
- Directing incoming vehicles to loading bays
- Checking off loads prior to exit from premises

Departmental Supervision and Administration
- Supervision of Despatch including Forklift Drivers
- Oversee regional and interstate deliveries, ensuring all relevant personnel are aware of schedule
- Route planning for contract truck drivers to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Supervision and adherence to contractual agreements as entered into with contract drivers
- Negotiation of contract and contract renewals with contract drivers in conjunction with the Operations Manager and State Manager
- Check and authorise contract driver invoices for payment, including GPS checking of route adherence and identification of inconsistencies
- Assist in the release of invoices and delivery dockets
- Scheduling to meet designated and requested delivery times as best possible according to availability and completion of orders, ensuring when this is not possible that customers are made aware of delays and order is captured on next available delivery
- Overseeing and managing delivery dockets, including collating all dockets upon completion into different areas of distribution, ensuring they are filed regularly and archives are managed as required
- Overseeing picked orders for delivery, ascertaining vehicle requirements and ensuring sufficient vehicles (size and weight capabilities) are available
- Organise vehicle bookings to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Capture all additional transport requirements in the transport booking register
- Preparation of delivery dockets and consignment notes for freight companies
- Supervision of truck loading and allocation of duties to dispatch forklift drivers
- Adhoc use of forklift nice to have but not necessary
- Liaising with both drivers and customers regarding delivery schedules
- At completion of deliveries checking documentation for appropriate signatures as proof of delivery, matching to corresponding picking slip and filling
- Ensure direct to site deliveries are appropriately coordinated, organising additional requirements (such as crane trucks), working within timeframes and ensuring all relevant information is ascertained regarding vehicle access
- Investigation of issues or incidents regarding deliveries and loads
- At all times ensure conduct and behaviour is in line with all company policies, including OHS and contributing to the ongoing safety of the work place
- Other tasks and projects as requested by the Operations Manager

**Competencies**:

- 3+ Years in a similar role
- Proven experience supervising staff and eliciting results
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal and the ability to communication with individuals from all levels within the organisation
- Experience working with an ERP system, Prostix or Epicor highly advantageous
- Well-developed IT skills
- Ability to multi task and time manage effectively
- Excellent planning and deductive skillsPositive “Can Do” attitude to customers, staff and the Tillings’ Brand
- Team first and future focused
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment
- Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight deadlines and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail an quality
