Lighting Designer

**About the role**:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work with the In-house project manager and various members of our innovative team with a great culture who love challenges and are dedicated to delivering quality and on time services to our customers. You will be responsible for liaising with the sales team to deliver lighting solutions according to client requirements and perform lighting calculations and modelling using AGI32 software.

**The main responsibilities include**:

- Lighting design & support
- Work with sales team to deliver creative lighting solutions for commercial projects.
- Assist with lighting proposals & reports
- Attend customer meetings as required and or sites for technical verifications when needed
- Communicate with lighting engineers/consultants, contractors and others as necessary
- Provide technical assistance to clients and sales team on product specification queries
- Complete all lighting design/simulation requirements in accordance with sales/product departments
- Coordinate on all completed projects and ensure they meet standards

**Skills required**:

- Must have MIES, RLP or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills
- Proficient in using AGI32 lighting design software with AutoCAD, Relux or DIALux (experience highly regarded)
- Familiar with 3D modelling and ability to read CAD Drawings and plans
- Strong presentation skills and computer literate
- Ability to support project tenders with product specification, estimating or project management experience
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $67,905.35 - $133,464.32 per year

- 8 hour shift
