About this role:
We have a full time position available and we invite an experience, enthusiastic and hardworking storeperson to join our team.

The key tasks of this role include:

- Receive incoming materials, tools, and equipment and verify their quantity and quality.
- Organise and store materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper handling and storage conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment orders.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Prepare insurance materials and equipment for construction teams in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction supervisors to fulfill material requests on time.
- Monitor material usage and consumption patterns to anticipate future needs and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Ensure that materials are issued per established procedures and documentation requirements.
- Communicate with construction teams to coordinate material deliveries and pickups based on project schedules and requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment in the storage areas.
- Properly handle and store hazardous materials according to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storage areas to prevent accidents and ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, issuances, and transfers of materials.
- Submission of periodical stock inventory report.
- Maintain a clean and neat working environment to optimize work space
- Requires to operate forklift / lorry occasionally.
- Ensure prompt fulfilment of Requisition & Sales Order for maximum customer satisfaction.

Who are we looking for?:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to focus on multiple tasks at once.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Valid driver’s licence

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
