Café Second in Charge

Aveling Café is your friendly go-to spot for fantastic coffee and delicious meals, located within the Aveling training centre.

We are seeking a 2IC (Second in Charge) to join our friendly team on a permanent part time basis, 3 days per week. We are open from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.

**What you will be doing**
- Supervising all café staff in the Café Team Leader’s absence
- Assisting the Café Team Leader in the day to day running of the café
- Consistently producing the highest quality coffee
- Providing friendly and prompt service
- Delivering food orders to classrooms on time and with a smile.
- Assist in preparing food in advance for our training courses (morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea)
- Maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen, café, and classroom catering areas.
- Ensuring Food Safety Standards are always upheld

**What we are looking for**
- Supervisory experience
- Barista experience
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of dietary requirements
