Using your clinical reasoning skills and clinical expertise to support our veterans and/or defence personnel who have sustained an injury, illness, or trauma. Rewarded by achieving outcomes and goals to get your clients fully fit and military ready to defend and protect Australia.
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This may include ADL’s, functional capacity evaluations, worksite, and ergonomic assessments;
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers;
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve a common goal;
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans. Support a dual customer caseload - ADF and DVA, and become an expert across your portfolio

Work location may vary between the Acumen office and customer worksite with some work from home options.

**What will make you successful**:

- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling
- Clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Ideally you will have experience working with the DVA or ADF cohort (or similar)
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience is preferred
