Tractor Operator

City of Parramatta has an exciting career opportunity to become part of our Parks and Open Space team as a Tractor Operator. As a Tractor Operator you will work with our maintenance teams to create the best parks and open spaces in Australia.

**About the role**

As a Tractor Operator, you will be responsible for delivering horticultural & green keeping services that ensure our Parks and Open Spaces are maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of our city

On a daily basis you will:

- Execute maintenance and work schedules for parks and open space assets.
- Work collaboratively with the park maintenance teams to ensure all required works are achieved.
- Operate Tractor, other plant and equipment required for the completion of works.
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other parks teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.
- Ensure correct completion of all necessary administrative functions (electronic & paper-based).

As the Tractor Operator you will bring your adaptability, attention to detail, punctuality, and excellent communication skills. You will work collaboratively alongside our maintenance team to drive success.

**Qualifications**:

- Hold a current MR license
- **Essential**:

- Possession of a White Card
- **Essential**:

- Asbestos Awareness

- Traffic Control License (TCR)

- Powerline Awareness

**What’s on offer**:
This is a Permanent Full-Time position.
- Monday-Friday
- 6:30am-3:00pm
- 38 hours per week
- Monthly rostered day off

We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1,183 to $1,302 plus 11% Superannuation.

This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance & First Aid Allowance.
