**What we offer**:

- On Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
- Location: Kwinana - Perth (FIFO may be required)
- Annual salary range: $80.000 -$90.000 AUD + Superannuation
- Pay for all your training required for the position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on both mobile and fixed plant equipment within the context of refining processes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Generate comprehensive, high-quality reports detailing findings and recommendations from inspections, testing, and audits.
- Utilise specialized inspection and testing equipment, along with commonly employed measuring devices, as necessary for inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and audits.
- Provide technical support and guidance on compliance matters to colleagues and clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, tests, and audits conducted, ensuring compliance with documentation and tracking requirements.
- Display flexibility in working hours in case of scheduled inspections or emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations during the performance of inspections and audits.
- Follow Mincka's standard procedures for filing and storage of all reports and reference material.
- Report to the supervisor on changes to project progress that affect the project delivery date.
- Actively participate in all internal meetings scheduled by the supervisor and engage in customer discussions when necessary.
- Communicate effectively, both in written and verbal forms, with colleagues and clients, ensuring clear understanding of findings and recommendations.
- Efficiently manage time and adhere to established deadlines for assigned tasks.

**Selection criteria**:
**Experience**:

- Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of substantial experience in industrial plant inspection or related roles, including previous experience in oil and gas or mining sectors.

**Education**:

- Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering backgrounds or a related field.

**Certifications**:

- AICIP or API510 (desirable)
- Working at Heights and Confined Space

**Desirable**
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Australian Work Rights
- National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
