Our client operates an international chain of family friendly supermarkets, and we are seeking an experienced delivery driver to support their operations here in Western Australia. You will be responsible for the transportation of goods from their central warehouse in Perth to stores across the state while assisting in the logistics of route planning and schedule preparations. **About the role**

As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for the following:

- Transporting goods and products from the central warehouse out to stores across Western Australia.
- Operating an MR 8 pallet refrigerated truck, with the potential to expand up to an HR 12 pallet truck.
- Assist with route planning and schedule preparations.
- Adhere to the delivery routes and schedule.
- Communicate changes to routes and schedules to the supervisor
- Follow reasonable customer instructions regarding the placement of delivered goods.
- Maintain driving records.
- Handle customer questions and communicate any customer questions and concerns to the supervisor.

**To be successful, you will possess the following**:

- Current and valid MR/HR driver’s licence _essential._
- Current and valid forklift truck licence _essential._
- Ability to pass a medical assessment as well as a drug and alcohol test.
- Demonstrated experience operating delivery vehicles under the MR/HR classification.
- Demonstrated experience operating a forklift truck.
- Commitment to operating vehicles and equipment safely while maintaining compliance to all WHS policies and procedures.
- Experience in dealing with customers and providing high quality customer service.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
