Pest Control Technician

**Company Overview**:
**PEST CONTROL DUTIES**:
**Must have Urban Pest Management licence**
- Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property wall, or roof porosity and access to infested locations.
- Record work activities performed.
- Clean work site after completion of job.
- Document work hours or activities.
- Post warning signs and lock building doors to secure area to be fumigated.
- Direct and/or assist other workers in treatment and extermination processes to eliminate and control rodents and other pest.
- Clean and remove blockages from infested areas to facilitate spraying procedure and provide drainage, using broom, mop, shovel, and rake.
- Inspect buildings or grounds to determine condition.
- Estimate maintenance service requirements or costs
- Study preliminary reports or diagrams/photographs of infested area and determine

treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation.
- Evaluate reports or designs to determine work needs.
- Set mechanical traps or place poisonous paste or bait
- Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients.
- Recommend products or services to customers.
- Drive Van equipped with power spraying equipment.
- Drive Vans or other vehicles to or at work sites.
- Complete Commercial jobs as directed.
- Wear correct PPE as provided and follow all Safe work method statements and Company

OHS policies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- pest control: 2 years (required)
