Location: Bankstown, Sydney City

About the Role:
Excel College Australia is seeking a dynamic and innovative Trainer and Assessor to join our team in Bankstown. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver and assess a variety of training package qualifications and provide top-notch training and assessment services to our students.

Available Training Package Qualifications:

- English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS)
- SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management
- SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing
- BSB80615 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
- BSB42105 Certificate IV in Leadership & Management
- SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- SIT40516 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
- SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management
- ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology
- BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership & Management (or willingness to study)

Key Selection Criteria:
Essential:

- Relevant qualifications, experience, and industry currency in the areas being trained and assessed.
- Vocational qualifications equivalent to or above what is being delivered.
- Demonstrated experience in vocational education and training.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
- Flexibility to work both face-to-face and online.
- Valid or the ability to hold a Working with Children’s Check.
- Ability to provide Professional Development evidence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Program planning and operations.
- Delivering training sessions.
- Conducting assessments.
- Engaging with the industry, particularly in Commercial Cookery.
- Monitoring and reporting on academic progress.

Skills and Experience:

- Experience in training within the VET sector, especially in the area of baking.
- Relevant industry qualifications and strong links with employers.
- Understanding of training packages and units of competency.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40116.
- Experience in validating assessment and learner resources.
- Experience in adult learning/education and training.
- High-level communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Advanced computer literacy and experience with MS Office.
