Pathology Collector - Home Visit

- As a Home Visit Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will be conducting home visits, as well as travelling to ACF, Nursing Homes and Group Homes, collecting blood & coordinating specimen samples from patients, using your empathy and drive to deliver great customer service and quality healthcare.- No day will be the same as you travel between different sites and patient homes to provide the highest quality of care.- Reporting to the Collection Lead, and joining a passionate team, you will play a pivotal role in positively impacting the health of Australians.**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
- Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
- Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times
- Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
- Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers

**About you**
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/ Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
- Previous experience with conducting ECG’s, Holter Monitoring and APB
- You have excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
- You are organised, with strong time management and attention to detail
- You are able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
- Hold a valid Driver's license and your own vehicle, with the flexibility to travel between different sites
- Hold a working with Children’s Check or be willing to obtain one
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work

**If you don’t have qualifications or experience in Phlebotomy, but have a healthcare background and are passionate about helping others, have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, and are interested in the role, we will set you up for success by providing you with full training and mentoring.**

**Vaccination Requirements**
- Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role
