Your Impact

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Melrose Park, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team. The role is dual, time floating across the service working within the rooms and time in the office.

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.

About Goodstart Melrose Park

Goodstart Early Learning Melrose Park is situated in Adelaide’s south west. Caters for 70 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Designed with stimulating surrounds to ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.

You’ll help achieve this by

Support the centre director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the centre director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
