Reporting into the Head of Category, as Category Development Manager you will play a key role in elevating the category voice and market view within the marketing function. You will be responsible for embedding the newly created category vision and strategy into Frucor’s portfolio planning strategy and commercial decision making, contributing to the creation of portfolio strategy over the medium-term horizon.
Working closely with the marketing team, you will be responsible for embedding best-in-class category management practices to ensure that the business stays ahead of the curve and continues to grow share in the rapidly growing Energy and Sport segments across Australia and New Zealand.
This role will be a key player in continuing to evolve and the step-change the way the business operates. Frucor are building high-performing category team, and need forward-thinking people who are prepared to challenge the status quo and continually strive to do things better.

This role is based out of the North Strathfield office with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office.
Do you have what it takes?
To be successful in this role, you will have previous FMCG experience in a commercial, marketing or insights role, with strong commercial acumen and P&L understanding.
You will be excellent at deriving actionable insight from data, but more importantly you will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be influential in driving change and taking others on the journey. You will be able to think strategically, and partner effectively with your immediate team and cross-functionally.
Finally, you will be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and have the courage to challenge the status quo, bringing energy, ideas and resilience.
