**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine steel fixing requirements for each project.
- Measure, cut, shape, and bend steel bars or mesh to specified dimensions using tools such as cutters, benders, and welders.
- Assemble and secure steel reinforcement bars, cages, or mesh in concrete forms or structures, ensuring proper alignment and placement.
- Tie steel bars together using various methods, such as wire, welding, or mechanical connectors.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure the seamless integration of steel fixing work within the overall construction process.
- Adhere to project timelines, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a steel fixer in the civil construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of steel fixing techniques, practices, and tools.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in using tools such as cutters, benders, and welders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
