Material Handler

CRRC Changchun Australia Rail Pty Ltd is a world-renowned industry-leading organization with a reputation for providing “best in class” rolling stock to our clients around the globe. The company is expanding our international markets and are committed to developing international project & design “centres of excellence”. Partnering with Downer, Australia’s leading rolling stock solutions provider, we have established our first Australian centre for excellence here in Melbourne.

This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time position with a chance of extension. You will work with a highly skilled and experienced team of professionals on a large-scale rolling stock project.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Issue and receive materials from production
- Make sure every materials flow goes with the correct information flow, in accordance with CRRC processes, and continuous improvement of recording both flows in the database
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
- Maintain non-conformance parts management interface in warehouse
- Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight
- Perform and report cycle counts
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines

**Skills and experience**
- Valid Forklift license is a must
- Experience of working in a warehouse setting or in logistics
- Able to work well in a team and independently
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions
- Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software

**How to apply?**

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
