**Role Summary**:
The Distributed Energy Resources Project Analyst role is an opportunity in our DER Platform Operations Team based at our Perth Forrest Centre site.

The DER Project Analyst will utilise their technical knowledge/experience of DER and of the associated technologies that enable aggregation and orchestration to perform the core responsibilities of the role.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Operate the DER platforms that enable the effective monitoring and control of DER assets and VPPs.
- Support delivery of new and existing DER pilots and programs by assisting in the delivery and operationalisation of the required DER platform operations capability.
- Provide market and operational analysis capability to inform day-to-day operational decisions and strategy.
- Support the DER Platform Operations Manager and the DER Platform Operations Lead to develop and build Synergy’s VPP platforms operations capability
- Support the design, installation, deployment in the customer environment of systems and technology associated with the integration of these systems and technology with VPP platforms.

**What you’ll bring**:

- 2+ years’ experience working within the electricity industry including demonstrated recent experience in a role with a strong technical, engineering or information technology focus.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret complex information.
- Ability to develop solid relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.
- Experience managing third party technology partners/suppliers.
