Transport Manager

**SEQH is looking for a professional TRANSPORT MANAGER to join our team.**

**South East Queensland Hauliers is a full service wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant, 5 minutes from the Port of Brisbane.**
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Coordinate FCL movements of import and export containers _(we have fleets that fall under specific divisions and our goal is to have our allocators trained across all 5 key areas)._
- Allocate trucks and liaise with drivers.
- Ensure container slot bookings are checked and **correct **(relevant to wharf/container parks).
- De-hiring of containers.
- Timely and accurate updating of our transport management system.
- Optimise fleet operations.
- Computer programs - 1-Stop & Container Chain
- Organising the maintenance of transport vehicles
- Handling complaints
- planning and implementing transportation schedules
- Ensure containers are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality to the customers site.
- Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports
- Ensure the transport operation compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- **The successful applicant will need**:_
- Degree in Business, Logistics or any relate field.
- More than 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Excel and Outlook with an ability to learn and understand new programs.
- Esperienced with 1-Stop & Container Chain
- Ability to work under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $75,000.00 per year
