What does the
**Merchandise Planner** DO?

The role of the Merchandise Planner is to maximise profitability efficiently. This involves all aspects from open to buy to the day-to-day planning with a strong focus on supporting retail and eCommerce rapid growth.

The Merchandise Planner will be working closely with relevant leads to align our resources and capabilities to deliver our organisation strategy on product ranges & lifecycle, while communicating & providing recommendations in line with team code

**Some of the incredible things you’ll be doing are**:

- Analysis of historical results and future trends to set WSSI (weekly sales, stock & intake) budgets and achieve company strategic and financial profit targets.
- Accurate forecasting in changing conditions
- Management of merchandise OTB
- Management of product lifecycles to achieve stock turn expectations.
- Produce weekly reporting to support trade decisions and analyse results.
- Drive and deliver promotional strategies & events to achieve sales and stock turn expectations.
- Responsible for setting the merchandise option & range assortment for seasonal collections in line with OTB & budget IM%
- Set, review and manage Core / key line program in line with OTB to optimise growth opportunity and manage stock turn.

**Some of what we’re looking for you to SHARE includes**:

- Previous Merchandise Planner Experience (at least 2 years) in a fast-paced retail environment
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to commercialise data for trade actions.
- Willingness to adapt with change & passionate about efficiency improvements.
- Advanced Excel & retail systems knowledge, Google Analytics, Jedox/Palo or TM1 extraction tool experience advantageous.
