**Who are we looking for?**

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined** Maintenance Controller** to join our team in **Melbourne, VIC**. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

**Your role**

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

- Act as a 24/7 technical and maintenance Control for fleet aircraft.
- Co-ordinate AOG teams and execute plan for aircraft recovery.
- Dispatch of aircraft with regard to control of defects, availability of spare parts, conformity with type design and the requirements of applicable operating rules.
- Co-ordinates with Flt Operations on the fleet status and aircraft rotation requirements.
- Provide defect troubleshooting and defect analyses support.
- Maintain a list of MRO contacts, and maintenance contacts of all Stations through which aircrafts operates.
- Identify, plan and position spares to support aircraft scheduled maintenance, defect rectification and AOG recovery.
- Monitor technical delays and out of service events daily.
- Administer the issue and maintain a log of authorisations, and initiate callouts at stations where maintenance action is required to attend to aircraft.
- MEL interpretation and recommendation to support the Stations and Flt Crew.

**The essential requirements**
- At least a minimum of 6 years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment, with at least 2 years of recent experience in certification of Line maintenance.
- Hold a valid CASA B1 Licence on A320 Aircraft type desirable
- Good knowledge of A320 aircraft systems and engines.
- High levels of motivation with proven problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to multitask.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Team Player and self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be able and willing to work on shifts including weekend.
- Teamwork mindset, ability to multi-task and work in a multinational fast-paced environment
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual
- Ability to travel overseas when needed

Several positions are required on a 4 on 4 off day shift roster in Melbourne, VIC.
