- BH-26172Our client is a global chemical and ingredient distributor and are looking for a QHSE Coordinator to join their high energy and enthusiastic team in the South East Suburbs on a 12 month maternity leave contract commencing ASAP.
Reporting to the QSHE Manage of ANZ, this role is responsible for managing day to day Quality, Health, Safety and Environment activities. Monitoring and maintaining QSHE systems; developing and implementing safety initiatives and ensuring the highest safety standards are met and are aligned to our client's strategic direction and that QSHE platforms are developed and managed to best practice standards for office and warehouse/ manufacturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for QSHE Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance
- Ownership of standards, procedures, audits, and lead safety investigations
- Manage incident/accident reporting and LTIR preparation
- Conduct and coordinate QSHE Committee meetings, activities, and audits
- Undertake QSHE audits, analysing results, preparing reports and taking corrective action as required
- Provide training, support and compliance activities, and lead internal audit program
- Offer regulatory support and provide Project Integration support on QSHE matters
Integrated Management System (IMS):
- Assist in maintaining ISO certifications, manage non-conformance process
- Coordinate ISO audits for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with business activities
General Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Work cohesively with stakeholders for a customer-centric culture
- Demonstrate the company values, participate in PPM, and take ownership of learning and development
- Perform other assigned duties and assist with ongoing projects
- Review, analyze, and report on the Job7 system, drive improvements, and implement efficiency gains
Compliance and Safety:
- Maintain knowledge of the Company’s Integrated Management Systems
- Adhere to safety standards, comply with Chain of Responsibility Policy, and uphold responsibilities under "Responsible Care"
- Ensure accurate product promotion and storage under Product Stewardship specifications
**About you**:
- Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety (minimum)
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (minimum)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends
- Diploma of Lead Auditing/ relevant certification in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and HACCP
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft skills
- Excel a must.
- The ability to influence and communicate to all areas of the organisation
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated
- Strong time management skills
- Chemical manufacturing / distribution industry experience (advantageous)
