**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Painting and Finishing Maintenance team** at our **Port Kembla** Manufacturing facility as an **Electrical Maintenance Coordinator**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

Leading a small team of 4 electricians whilst delivering a cost-effective, quality focused and flexible maintenance function to the Springhill Cranes & Facilities Maintenance departments.

If you are a highly skilled tradesperson with aspirations to move into a more supervisory-style position, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

**What Will You Do?**

As the electrical maintenance coordinator, you will:

- supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance
- coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section
- coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions
- participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects
- respond to the day-to-day electrical availability and reliability issue

**More About You**

As an experienced electrical maintenance coordinator, you will have sound leadership experience, work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a team environment. You will also have:

- electrical trade qualifications, or an advanced diploma in electrical engineering
- experience working with AC and DC cranes
- demonstrated leadership experience
- experience with PLC Systems and drives
