**Who are we looking for?**:
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to work within our Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS) team, to provide life changing support to our valued customers. Calling upon your knowledge and expertise in disability, you will be joining a highly collaborative team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans.

If you are passionate about providing Positive Behaviour Support services across the lifespan, working with stakeholders to provide education and support in restrictive practice and behaviour support, and enjoy working 1:1 with individuals to improve their overall quality of life, we would love to hear from you

**What can you expect to be doing?**:

- Work within an established multi-disciplinary team (Developmental Educators, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants), to deliver a high-quality service to children, young people and adults living with a disability.
- Complete functional behaviour assessments and develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans in consultation with customers, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Undertake clinical assessments and provide practice advise/support to aide in the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices.
- Support the effective implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans by providing training and intensive support to families and stakeholders.
- Complete needs assessments, NDIA review reports and deliver 1:1 therapy sessions to customers with challenging behaviours and complex support needs.

**What do you need to bring?**:

- Tertiary qualification in Developmental Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, or relevant allied health/education field that will allow for registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Current Behaviour Support Practitioner registration with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Current registration with the DEAI or relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and working with people with a disability in a therapeutic capacity.
- Solid understanding of NDIS funding packages and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission/regulated restrictive practice.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, families and other service providers.
