**Key Responsibilities**:

- Experience a dynamic and enjoyable workplace encompassing, animal care, maintenance, reception, and some transportation responsibilities.
- Availability needed across a flexible seven-day roster, including consistent work during school holidays and general availability on public holidays and long weekends.
- Instruct animals in both verbal and non-verbal commands, addressing behavioural issues effectively.
- Train animals in various tasks as required.
- Maintain meticulous records of animal health, administering treatment for minor injuries, and promptly notifying veterinarians of any serious conditions.
- Engage in exercising, playing with animals, responding to visitor inquiries, and safely transferring animals between enclosures by leading or carrying them.
- Perform routine animal care tasks including feeding, exercising, health monitoring, dog photography, and safe transport as needed.
- Swiftly address any issues related to dog behaviour, including distress, excessive barking, or safety concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling phone inquiries, managing bookings, and facilitating check-ins and check-outs.
- Undertake cleaning, routine light maintenance, and other necessary duties onsite and offsite.
- Ensure the well-being of the dogs and promptly report any health or behavioural concerns to management.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- AQF Certificate III in Animal Studies or equivalent, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) in Animal Studies.
- Proven experience as an Animal attendant
- Strong understanding of canine behaviour and safe handling practices.
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific care requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients professionally.
