We are looking for a Fieldwork Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. The Fieldwork Coordinator is a new role, responsible for planning and coordinating fieldwork logistics, especially in relation to archaeological fieldwork, in support of Project Managers, Branch Managers, or the Business Operations Manager.

This is a permanent full-time role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours) based in Brunswick East office. _Here_'s a fantastic opportunity to be part of our next chapter of unprecedented growth.

**The key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Managing travel and accommodation bookings.
- Hiring, purchasing, and coordinating site equipment including internal resource scheduling.
- Assisting HR and Project Managers in the engagement of casual employees.
- Working within project budgets, schedules and scopes to ensure projects meet deliverables as directed by the Project Manager.

**Essential skills and experience**:

- You are able to manage competing priorities, making judgements, and adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- You have the ability to proactively plan and take ownership of assigned projects
- You have demonstrated experience in adhering to budgets
- You have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You have excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- You have high-level computer literacy including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
- You possess a strong work ethic, demonstrates initiative and meets deadlines.
- You work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- You have exceptional teamwork skills and the ability to also work with independently with mínimal/no supervision
