Your new work environment is lcoated next to Milgate primary school in the Milgatge community and at full capacity caters to 92 children. This is a very well-managed, near new centre with an experienced, supportive & accessible leadership team.
The philosophy is underpinned by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning and cuirriculum driven by childrens interests.
The service takes sustianability of high importance and considers it a priority to minimise impact on the environment and teach children ways they can reduce their footprint. There is a commitment to using recycled and natural materials within our art projects or for in-room experiences, including loose parts play. A community garden project encourages children to plant fruit and vegetables and they work with the in-house chef when it is time to pick them.
**About you**
- A completed Cert III, Diploma, or working towards a degree (as recognised by ACECQA)
- Experience in a long daycare environment
- An understanding of the legislation, standards and frameworks relating to Early Childhood Education.
- An understanding of child protection legislation and willingness to undergo additional child protection training as required
- Have great communication skills
- The ability to work between 7.30 am and 6.00 pm is helpful.
