The Role

We are seeking a well-organised and experienced Work Integrated Learning Officer to coordinate and deliver quality support services detailed information and advice for student placements and work integrated learning (WIL) for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Faculty of Medicine Health and Human Sciences.

Reporting to the Work Integrated Learning Team Leader and working within our work integrated learning team, this role will coordinate and support the delivery of a diverse range of work-integrated learning for students including clinical placement, internships, student volunteering, work placements and Co-op programs. The role will be responsible for the smooth delivery of placement activities, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory regulations as well as fostering positive relationships with internal, external stakeholders and placement partners.

About You

You will have an excellent knowledge of and proven expertise in the coordination and administration of student placements and work integrated learning programmes in a higher education setting. Your ability to manage multiple tasks with a high attention to detail, competing deadlines and adaptability to changing circumstances will be essential to the smooth running of the position. Excellent communication skills and customer focus with the ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with people at all levels will also be key to success in this role.
