**The Client**

With over 30 years in the Accounting & Advisory field, this client is well-established and very well-known within the industry. They have exposure to all aspects of accounting on a national level and they offer outstanding client service at all times. They are a smaller sized mid-tier firm and they take pride in offering a flexible work environment and excellent growth and development within the organisation.

**The Role**

The Internal Auditor will develop effective key stakeholder relationships and engage directly with the business or with co-source providers to achieve the right outcomes. Be responsible for preparing factually accurate and insightful documentation and reports that enhance the effectiveness and reputation of the audit team.

**Further Duties**
- Perform audits in line with Australian standards and stay up to date with technical knowledge and standards
- Assist the Audit Managers and the Internal Audit team in delivering fit for purpose outcomes on audit and non-audit activities
- Monitor reviews on remediation actions and follow-up as necessary to ensure they have been effectively addressed
- Contribute to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan to ensure the plan is relevant to the needs of the business
- Prepare Internal Audit reports and Audit committee papers
- Identify and assess appropriateness & effectiveness of audit processes

**The Applicant**
- 1-3 years’ experience in Internal Audit
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
- CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded
- Knowledge of current internal audit concepts and standards
- Excellent attention to detail as well as presentation and communication skills
