**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Summary of the role**: An exceptional opportunity for a dynamic, innovative and experienced paediatric dietitian to provide specialist Dietetic services within the Special Care Nursery and Neonatal Intensive care Unit at Mercy Hospital for Women. This will suit a clinician looking for a new challenge in a tertiary neonatal public hospital that is committed to ensuring high quality, evidenced-based, person-centred, safe and effective patient care.
- Grade 3 Paediatric Dietitian, permanent part-time, 0.4EFT
- Days negotiable
- Located at Mercy Hospital for women, Heidelberg
- Strong culture of learning, innovation and research
- Provide comprehensive neonatal nutritional care to neonates and support to families within the NICU/SCN and outpatient follow as required
- Be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing exceptional care to neonates
- Be a proactive member of the Dietetics team at Mercy Health

**ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Master of Dietetics or equivalent qualification
- Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and APD status
- Additional study in paediatric nutrition
- Extensive clinical experience in paediatrics
- Committment to continuous quality improvement, clinical research and professional development of self and others within an evidence based framework
- Highly effective clinical leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and practices with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated and team orientated
