Trades Assistant

With the addition of an exciting project for a long term customer, the team at **Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia (VCV) Brisbane South** (Wacol) have openings on their team for **6 month fixed term** full-time experienced:

- Mechanics (Heavy or Light Vehicle)
- Fitters/Sheetmetal Workers
- Workshop Trade Assistants
- Experienced Light Vehicle/4WD accessory fitters

Your experience might be in fitting accessories, working on car bodies, industrial paint shop.. Ultimately you are hardworking, keen to work in a team and don’t mind getting your hands dirty in the process

**About you**:

- Previous work experience in an industrial environment (essential)
- A mechanical aptitude
- The ability to understand and follow written instructions and procedures
- Passionate about consistently delivering exceptional customer service
- Willingness to learn
- Can do attitude, self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent listener, flexible team player with a commitment to producing quality work

This role is for an initial period of 6 months. It is a full time 38 hour working week with fortnightly paid wages (plus super, plus overtime and tool allowance). These are day shifts with a 6am start. Hourly pay range for this role varies based on experience. The roles will commence in January with interviews, background checks and a comprehensive pre-employment medical to take place in early January.
