Experienced Livestock Hand

Our client is seeking an Experienced Livestock Hand for their property located 10km from Gundagai, New South Wales. The property is 4,000 hectares of mixed farming including 17,000 ewes, 100 cattle and 1,000ha of cereal and fodder cropping. With a growing number of livestock, there is a lot of work to be done.

To successful in this positon, previous experience with sheep processing and confidence mustering on side-by-sides, bikes and quads is essential. The successful applicant must also have well trained, experienced working dogs that are able to work in and around sheep.

The position is a brilliant role and our client offers desirable working conditions, attractive accommodation and a negotiable salary. The accommodation supplied is a new, 4 bedroom house with an attached yard and aircon/heating facilities. The client offers meat allowance as part of the package, as well as meat/dog food supplied for the working dogs. House pets are negotiable upon request.
