Escalator Technician

We are looking for experienced lift and escalator technicians to join our maintenance team in Queensland. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for completing repairs on existing customer sites and ensuring that all elevators and escalators perform to customer expectations.

This position covers our elevator and escalator products and we are looking for someone with extensive experience in handling elevator and escalator maintenance and service.

**Main Duty**:
Perform repair work to return elevators/escalators to full service

Keep relevant personnel on site informed of escalator arrivals, departures and status at all times

Follow established procedures to shut down elevators or escalators that are deemed unsafe and inoperable

Proposals for material changes if it is believed that the performance of the escalator can be improved

Make sure your workplace is kept clean and all files are up to date

Depending on job requirements, some flexibility is required to work overtime or weekends.

**Role Requirements**:
Electrical trade qualification/valid electrical license

Previous experience as an elevator service technician or elevator maintenance technician will be highly valued

current driver's license

Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure

Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $52,770.74 - $158,002.51 per year
