**About the team**:
The Business Grants Hub and Integrity Division (BGHI) is responsible for design and management of grant programs on behalf of 11 other Commonwealth departments, managing over $7b in government’s investment in Australian businesses.

Grants play a critical role in:

- supporting growth in businesses and industries
- fostering research and innovation
- strengthening communities
- helping the environment
- providing emergency relief

In addition to grant program management, the division encompasses enabling functions that provide a comprehensive support model for grant delivery. These broadly include development and management of our Customer and Grant Management systems, delivery of training and professional development initiatives, workforce planning as well as delivery of continuous improvement projects.

It is a dynamic division of over 400 people, all our teams are geographically dispersed with staff located all around Australia.

**The opportunity**:
This is an exciting opportunity to assist in grant program delivery and/or management. You will support and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to government, to deliver public-facing government grant programs.
- high-level experience in grant program delivery and/or contract management; transferable skills and relevant experience in design and delivery of programs or shared services; and/or transferable skills where it can be clearly demonstrated there is applicability and alignment with the position will also be considered.
- the ability to supervise and manage team workflows including setting priorities and ensuring quality outcomes.
- highly proficient oral and written communication skills and a strong ability to negotiate to reach a mutual agreement.
- strong relationship management skills including proven ability to establish and support complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- well-developed research and analysis skills and the ability to reach evidence-based conclusions.
- strong IT and systems skills.

**What you will do**:
As a Grants Delivery Officer at the APS Level 6, you will undertake work under limited direction. You will contribute to the development, delivery and/or management of public-facing government grant programs, including leading activities that support grant lifecycle processes.

You will be required to:

- undertake program delivery and/or management activities according to guidelines, performance standards, funding and program governance and quality framework.
- manage a variety of internal and external stakeholder relationships and engage with customers including businesses, industry groups and other government departments.
- provide advice on grants delivery consistent with Commonwealth rules, policies, legislation and grant guidelines.
- lead and direct team workflow, including supporting and mentoring team members.
- keep up to date with record keeping and reporting requirements.
- manage contracts with businesses and organisations across multiple programs.
- use internal systems and tools for grants, contract and customer relationship management, ensuring input of quality information and data.
- provide support and training to members of the team and build a positive and productive culture.
