An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated **Head of Finance ANZ** to join **ARYZTA Australia Pty Ltd** in our team in **Chullora, NSW.** Reporting to the Finance Director APAC, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the financial function for ANZ. This role is a key member of the SLT and plays a pivotal role in driving success at ARYZTA.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Commercial Management**
- Leadership and management of group commercial team to provide performance management analysis across the group.
- Support, challenge and provide insight to the strategic direction of the group through financial analysis and to form a link between finance and the business, acting as the first point of the business partner.
- Communication, delivery and management of group business strategies.
- Lead the development of group financial planning, including “end to end” responsibility for budgeting and forecasting.
- Development of performance management framework to be deployed across the group, and lead business intelligence / analytics initiatives.
- Ensure consistent, accurate and quality cost accounting frameworks are deployed across the group.
- Identify and support delivery of business performance improvement projects.
- Oversight and support the development of business cases.
- Review, support and track all capex across the group.
- Support for Mergers & Acquisitions as required.

**Group Financial Control**
- Leadership and management of group financial control function, including Accounting to Report, Payables, Rebates, Receivables, Payroll and Financial systems.
- Ensure the timely and accurate provision of financial information for accounting and reporting purposes, including weekly P&L, month end accounting and reporting, quarterly corporate compliance reporting and year end activities.
- Ensure integrity of financial information for the group.
- Ensure timely provision of relevant and insightful executive/management report
- Ensure financial information integrity, accuracy and in compliance with ARYZTA’s Accounting policies and Accounting Standards.
- Ensure the transactional services are effectively and efficiently service the business needs.
- Ensure the group treasury function is closely working with corporate HO to maximise cash flow and minimise group working capitals
- Ensure employees possess the necessary skills, abilities and motivation to contribute to the achievement of the financial control function goals and objectives. Focus on continuous improvement culture.
- Ensure the finance systems continue to meet business requirement.
- Ensure all statutory obligations are met, including all tax compliances
- Manage the internal and external audit relationship

**To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual with**:

- Bachelors degree (B.A or B.S.) in accounting from an accredited institution and ten (10) years relevant accounting experience.
- CPA or CA
- You will have minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership capability, and demonstrated experience in managing large teams.
- Strong track record of success in a manufacturing or FMCG.
- Commercial minded with a strong understanding of financial systems, eg Great Plains, SAP etc.
- Demonstrated experience as a change agent, experience in managing significant change in a large finance function.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation.
- Expertise in architectural of the financial modelling.
- High level of integrity, accountability & customer focus.
- Strong communicator with excellent listening, interaction and writing skills.
- Quality focus.
- Good collaboration and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work well under multiply deadlines and pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable.
