Mechanical Tradesperson

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Galvanised Products maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in Mayfield. The operational team is highly safety focused and process driven, with a positive team culture. This role offers permanent and stable employment, predominantly on day shift with requirement for shift work as per business needs.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance
- Breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting issues
- Overhauling fixed plant or equipment
- Providing feedback via the maintenance management system
- Compliance with quality and safety processes to complete all tasks to high standard
- Working on shift as required.

**About your experience**:

- Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate is essential
- Demonstrated experience overhauling fixed plant equipment
- Additional trades training and/or experience with hydraulics and pneumatics or welding
- SAP exposure
- Strong focus on safety and initiative with a can-do attitude
- Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with a proactive approach
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A background in heavy manufacturing or mining is desirable
- Forklift, HR and EWP tickets would be highly regarded
