**Aircraft Pricing and Trading Analyst**

**Job Title**:Aircraft Pricing and Trading Analyst

Opportunity to join an expanding Aviation Investment and Management Group. Reporting to the Partners of
Bellinger Aviation, the Aircraft Pricing and Trading Analyst will be responsible for:

- Working with the deal team on financial transactions involving aircraft acquisitions, leasing, remarketing and disposals.
- Transaction modelling and analysis, including forecasting cashflows, aircraft fly forward analysis and return metrics.
- Recognising key inputs and outputs from modelling results, with ability to interpret and evaluate data within investment decision-making context.
- Continuous development of proprietary investment pricing models.
- Developing asset knowledge and an understanding of appraiser methodologies.
- Analysis of aircraft supply and demand in the market
- Market trend analysis and communication of market information to the Group.
- Assisting in producing credit analysis for underlying obligors in transactions.
- Assisting in producing internal approval papers and presentations for each transaction.
- Assisting with regular management reporting.
- Monitoring trade literature and other data sources.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant bachelor’s degree in a financial mathematics or engineering discipline and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in an analytical/pricing and aircraft trading role within an aviation leasing or financial services organisation.
- Strong financial modelling capabilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Highly numerate and analytical, with good problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the aircraft leasing industry, aircraft maintenance cycle and aircraft investment modelling advantageous.
- Able to effectively manage relationships both internally and with external parties whilst working well independently.

- Strong organisational, management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and deliver quality work product within tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand the ‘big picture’ while also showing high attention to detail.
- Maintain relationships necessary to facilitate data feeds and market knowledge.
- Capable of working across time zones, to tight deadlines and under own initiative whilst enjoying working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collegiate team environment.

**Location: Sydney**
