Tradewind are working with an independent, co-educational Christian school in the beautiful Northern Beaches who are looking for an enthusiastic HSIE teacher to join their growing team. Join this well-respected school in a full time, permanent position starting term 1 2025. Experienced teachers and graduates are encouraged to apply.

**Demonstrated Experience and Skills**
- qualifications to teach HSIE, the ability to teach Geography is essential
- demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners and respond to a dynamic learning environment
- desire to work as part of the wider school team
- evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- excellent communication skills
- ability to achieve strong academic results
- a strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students

**Prerequisites**:

- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
- Ability to provide a Christian Church reference
