**The Role**
There has never been a more exciting time to join our progressive and dynamic organisation. The Land Domain is seeking an experienced and passionate Divisional Project Controller who is looking for a new challenge and to be part of a growing team.
As an EL 1 Divisional Project Controller in Land Domain, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence capability. You will:
- be accountable to undertake very complex project planning, scheduling, reporting and control activities.
- have experience and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the project controls discipline and be responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of policies within that discipline.
- be responsible for ensuring project controls policies and procedures are established in accordance with existing Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group requirements.
- have experience in managing a team to achieve business outcomes.
- take the initiative for achieving results, reviewing team and business performance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- have the ability to work independently, set work tasks that align with strategic objectives and communicate expected outcomes.
- use your experience and knowledge to conduct assurance activities and provide advice to senior officers.
This position requires extensive stakeholder engagement and you will be required to understand their expectations and concerns to develop effective practices and methodology to achieve critical Defence capability outcomes.
