We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global Client as a Maintenance planner which offers ongoing support and training with a great team and company culture, no really, the team are fantastic The site is also a sight to be seen, a short walk and you have the waves lapping at your feet.

**What exactly is this role doing?***

In this role you will be required to manage the planning of maintenance tasks and oversee and support electrical works at the Gold Coast Desalination Plant to ensure that contractual requirements are met and that all efforts are made with the equipment available to manage and minimise environmental, public health and OHS risks.

The key responsibilities are to:

- Administer maintenance plans, forecasts and schedules in line with the maintenance strategy and plant performance requirements for labour, materials, costs and shutdown coordination.
- Coordinate the development of work packages and maintenance strategy delivery.
- Manage the planning of the maintenance of the Desalination Plant via the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure that all maintenance tasks are planned and completed in the allocated time.
- Provide Support to staff carrying out maintenance activities coordinating the development of work packages.
- Plan and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor the prioritisation of defect and routine maintenance.
- Plan shutdown activities using the preferred planning tool.

**What do you need to be successful?***
- Trade qualification in Electrical discipline and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in maintenance management.
- Motor vehicle Drivers licence.
- Good understanding of computing systems.
- Experience in maintenance planning and maintenance management.
- Experience in operations management.
- Experience in water treatment or industrial system operations.
