**About the team**:
Coles Liquor is a trusted retailer with three iconic trading banners, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars. Our purpose is to help adult Australians lead happier and healthier lives by drinking in a responsible and sustainable way. As a drink’s specialist, Coles Liquor hosts an extensive range of wines, spirits and beers and we are passionate about providing customers with local and relevant products.
Our knowledgeable Team Members serve customers through our network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.

**About the role**:
As a Category Buying Manager Craft Beer, you will have full accountability of the P&L and will develop a category strategy to implement across our stores.

Utilising your strategic mindset, you will identify growth opportunities within your category and partner with suppliers to determine range and pricing structure, ensuring we provide the best options for our customers.

You’ll also:

- Drive results and performance of your category
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, operations, transformation, and strategy
- Execute our customer-centric strategy for your category
- Drive innovation within the category, working closely with the broader Coles Liquor team
- Management of key processes for assigned category including marketing brief and sign off on content and accuracy
- Lead and develop your team

**About you and your skills**:
You’ll need demonstrated category management experience within a retail or FMCG environment.

You’ll also need
- Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Creative style with the ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven retail environment
- Proven ability to champion and drive change
- Strong financial acumen within a highly commercial environment
- Experience or interest in Beer, Wine or Spirits highly desirable
