About the Position

The position is part of the proudly diverse and inclusive Active Monash Branch with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of the community through the provision of sport and active recreation facilities, programs and services.

Responsible for the delivery or recreation services and programs, the position has a key role in shaping the future of sport and recreation in Monash.

The services also helps deliver a large annual capital works program, upgrading playgrounds, sports pavilions and active recreation facilities to help support particpation outcomes in Monash.

Skills and Experience

**Applicants are required to have**:
An understanding of the active recreation and sports industry and trends,

Facility management practices, processes and agreements; and,

experience in capital works planning and delivery.

**Requirements**:
Employee Working with Children’s Check (if applicable)

Satisfactory National Police Check; and

Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
